Students will continue to work on their resolution persuasive position paper in Google Drive. The rough copy is due at the beginning of class on Wednesday.

Students will work on their United Nation’s map and collage.

 

Wednesday

Students will work with partners to edit/revise their resolution position paper.

 

Thursday and Friday

No class due to mid-term exams.

December 5-9, 2016

Monday

Students will work on their United Nation’s map and collage.

 

Tuesday

I will introduce how to write a United Nation resolution author’s position paper. I will share model position papers.

 

Wednesday-Friday

Students will work on their UN map, collage, and resolution position paper.

November 14-18, 2016

Monday-Wednesday

Students will finish their audio/visual presentation with their United Nation’s country group.

Students will make sure to cite their sources.

This is due at the end of class on Wednesday.

 

Thursday

We will read the specifics of the United Nations map and collage from their UN manual.

Students will decide within their country their topic, so they can go during the holidays to purchase the needed supplies.

October 24-28, 2016

Monday-Friday

Each day I will share a model resolution.

Students will cite their sources utilizing citationmachine.net.

Students will work on creating their resolution operative clauses, solutions to their world issue.

Students will continue to edit/revise their resolution preamble clauses.

October 17-20, 2016

Monday-Thursday

Each day I will share another model resolution.

Students will cite their sources utilizing citationmachine.net.

Students will continue to work on polishing their resolution preamble clauses answering the 7 questions:

What is the problem?

Who/What is causing the problem?

Who is affected by the problem?

Where the problem is occurring?

Why is it a problem?

How long has this been a problem?

When is this problem occurring?

*Student’s resolution preambles are due at the end of class on Monday.
